In the course of the energy transition, decentralized energy generation, e.g. through wind power, photovoltaics, biogas power plants, etc., is on the rise. This is leading to a shift in customer requirements at the various voltage levels. There is a shift from the 420kV extra-high voltage level to the 220kV and 145kV high-voltage level. The plant’s rigid product line organization makes it difficult for it to react to volatile market changes.
The aim was to find a sustainable concept for flexibilization.
Result:
- Development and simulation of a flexible line concept with the possibility of producing different products on one production area
- Introduction of self-propelled transport systems that move the product from station to station
- Introduction of a fleet management system for control and visualization
- Development with external service provider from the automotive sector
